Semolina flour or all-purpose flour for dusting
Instructions
Preheat oven to 500°F. Lightly brush your pizza stone with semolina or all-purpose flour (no need to preheat if you roll dough directly on the stone).
Roll out the pizza dough directly on the floured pizza stone or on a floured surface for easy transfer.
Spread barbecue sauce evenly over the dough.
Evenly scatter the pulled pork over the sauce.
Add crescents of red onions.
Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, then Parmesan cheese.
Add crispy bacon pieces if using.
Place the pizza stone on the middle rack of the oven and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden and crispy.
Remove from oven, slice, and serve hot.
Notes
For a crispier crust, preheat your pizza stone for 30 minutes before baking and transfer the assembled pizza with a pizza peel.
Try adding caramelized onions for extra sweetness.
Mix in different kinds of cheeses like cheddar for more flavor.
