Instructions
Follow my simple recipe for pizza dough made with all-purpose flour or use store-bought crust. Roll it out on a floured surface to fit your pizza stone, baking sheet, or cast iron skillet.
Cook chopped bacon over medium heat until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels. Shred your cooked chicken breast. If you like, caramelize your red onions in a bit of butter until soft and sweet.
Place the dough on your baking sheet or pizza stone. Spread an even layer of BBQ sauce (or homemade BBQ sauce). Layer with shredded chicken, red onion, crispy bacon, and slices of mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle the top with shredded Parmesan cheese.
Bake at 500°F until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly—about 10–14 minutes.
Slice up your assembled pizza and serve warm. Leftovers store well in an airtight container for next day pizza cravings.
