Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
This is my personal favorite version of a pumpkin pie smoothie. You could even call it a pumpkin pie cheesecake smoothie since it has cream cheese in this recipe.
I have a really difficult time enjoying a full breakfast meal so, I generally choose to have this smoothie for breakfast. It is filled with healthy ingredients and adding collagen gives me even more added health benefits.

Pumpkin packs several health benefits. It is high in fiber, an excellent source of vitamin A & C, and antioxidant rich. Pumpkin is a nutritious food that is good for your heart and your eyes.
Collagen in Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
I try my best to stick to a very healthy diet. Smoothies are a great way to sneak in some added health benefits of certain supplements.
Collagen is one of those healthy supplements that I add into one of my drinks on a daily basis. If I don’t add it to my coffee then I most generally add it to a smoothie.
What is Collagen?
Collagen is protein in your body. It’s one of the major building blocks of bones, skin, muscles, tendons and ligaments. I like to think of collagen as the “glue” that holds everything together.
There are four main types of collagen and they do various roles within the body. As we age, the body produces less collagen. One of the most visible signs is the skin. The skin becomes less firm.
I have been using Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides for several months. I have noticed a difference in how quickly my hairs grow as well as my nails. My skin has also seen a difference.

How to Make a Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
1. In a blender combine
1/2 cup half n half
2 ounces of cream cheese
1/2 cup pumpkin purée – learn how to make homemade pumpkin puree
2 TBSP sweetener of choice
1/2 tsp of pumpkin pie spice
1 scoop Vital Protein Collagen
2. Blend all ingredients together until creamy and smooth.
3. Add 1 cup of ice to the blender and blend until ice is no longer in large chunks.
4. Pour into a glass. Top with homemade whipped cream and a bit of pumpkin spice. Then, enjoy!
